Communication; communication is the key to success in most things in life. You should always demonstrate appropriate nonverbal and verbal skills. Use correct language and terms when speaking and writing, slang language should not be used because others can interpret it the wrong way. In communication listening skills are also important because you want to be certain that the massage was sent the way you intended it to be sent. Communication is important in teamwork, talk to each other not at each other.

     Productivity is following safety practices, keeping work area clean, staying on task, and utilizing time constructively. Safety is everyone's job and so id housekeeping. Part of housekeeping is organizing and filing. It is important to read directions and or procedures before beginning a task. Employers must work with efficiency to make sure the company's work continues to grow.

Organization


Good organizational skills are very important in the workplace. It is important to prepare your detailed schedule in advance. This keep you informed about what you are expected to do during the day or the week. I work in a clinic and in order to be prepared for our patient’s appointments we pull charts for the next day before we leave work, that way we can look over the reason for their visit and have the necessary paperwork when they arrive for their visit.

Work Ethics

Attendance; maintaining good attendance in the workplace is very important. You should make attendance a priority. Be aware of your schedule and what you are expected to do at what time. When one employee is absent from work it affect the entire flow because other employees have to cover the absent employee's shift or job responsibilities. When you have to miss work you should inform your supervisor ahead of time. Attendance not only affect the absent person but the other employees as well.
